PRESIDENTIAL UNIT CITATION![]() The Degree of Heroism is the same, which would warrant an Award of a Distinguished Service Cross to an Individual. Extended periods of Combat Duty or participation in a large number of Operational Missions is not sufficient. Only on rare occasions is the award presented to units larger than battalions.
